For the past few weeks John Wayne has been recording at studilaroche, in stead of our regular weekly rehearsal. I, as With, think the recordings are coming along in a rather splendid manner.
Both 'tiffany's' and 'chrome lover' are nearly completed with only a guitar overdub here and there left to complete them. Recently we've been recording 'sticky web' and that's occupied the bulk of our last two recording sessions. We've got some terrific and rather different versions and now due to that variety in performance we're now in the process of sorting through all the information contained in this song to create an appropriate rendition on 'tape'.
Here's to hoping that we start with some new material next week. I'd love to start recording 'stars', 'pint for pint', 'dry run for a dissolution', 'houses', 'a9', 'trade earth', 'intent', 'hypochondriac', 'checkmate to lose' and 'acropolis' and
